Hello and welcome to this blog all about living in and enjoying the island of Malta.

What will travel look like now?
Travel has been a big part of my life for a long time. I have always travelled around 4 - 10 times per year for work and as much as I can for pleasure, usually fitting in a few long weekends around Europe in alongside trips back to the UK to see family. I realise now how much I took the ease of travel for granted and I’m kind of nervous to see what travel looks like in the post-Covid age.
Online pet stores with delivery in Malta
I don’t drive, so when buying things like cat toys and cat food for my princess, Kinnie, I’ve always relied on local pet shops delivering to my apartment. Cat trees, new litter boxes, or even wet food tins can be heavy and there isn’t a really well stocked pet shop anywhere in easy walking distance, so it’s so much easier to order my pet supplies online and have them delivered to my door in Malta.
15 online grocery delivery options in Malta
Whilst not on complete lockdown here in Malta, we are advised to stay home as much as possible. I have a horrible immune system and we both want this all over with as soon as possible so Arvid and I are limiting our time in the outside world so we had to find a way to get food and groceries delivered to our home.
Fun services whilst locked down in Malta
Whether you're on mandatory quarantine or practising social distancing as part of the #staythefuckhome movement chances are you'll need a few things to help you get through.
Malta and the coronavirus
Well, shit got real, real fast over on this little island. The number of confirmed coronavirus (covid-19) cases varies per source, with latest stats stating over 300 cases, but other websites claiming doctors state many cases are going unreported.
Getting Rejected for a Home Loan
This is a bit of a hard one for me to write as it means divulging a bit more personal information than I'm usually comfortable sharing and it's also actually quite embarrassing. But here goes... I got rejected for a home loan from almost every bank in Malta.
